After a successful planning stage and an efficient progress of works at the construction site, preparation for the grand opening of the new luxury hotel Seven Pines Resort Ibiza and its 56,000m² premises begins.
Kai Richter and Jörg Lindner, managing partners of Lindner Investment Management GmbH (LIM), have given the go ahead for the pre-opening phase of their new chain of luxury resorts by appointing Markus Lück as General Manager for Seven Pines Resort Ibiza.
Markus Lück will take over the role in January 2016 and brings more than 17 years of luxury hospitality industry experience to Seven Pines Resort Ibiza. “The opening of the Seven Pines Resort Ibiza marks a significant step and represents the benchmark for a sustainable and successful expansion of Seven Pines Hotels & Resorts”, explains Kai Richter. “We are delighted to have such an experienced hotelier as Markus Lück onboard at Seven Pines Resort Ibiza. With his comprehensive knowledge of the international hotel business he will be responsible for developing Seven Pines Resort Ibiza as leading luxury hotel of the island.”, says Jörg Lindner.
Most recently, the 39-year-old hotelier ran the Palais Hansen Kempinski Vienna as General Manager. Previous stages in his career include the opening of Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra, Ghana in 2014 and being Vice General Manager of Hotel Adlon Kempinski in Berlin, Kempinski Grand Hotel in Geneva and the Kempinski Grand Hotel de Bains in St. Moritz.
“When there are no limits set to imagination, something entirely new and unique can be created. And this is exactly what Kai Richter and Jörg Lindner achieved with their resort in Ibiza”, explains the Trier-born hotelier and promises: “Not only its unique location, but also the exciting concepts of service and cuisine will establish the Seven Pines Resort Ibiza as leading luxury destination in the European market. I am greatly looking forward to taking up this new challenge.” In January 2016, the former graduate of Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne and married father will move to Ibiza with his wife and two sons and will start managing the resort.
